After Portland and DebConf14, San Francisco was the next stop on my trip.

It's all about the people: My San Francisco visit was basically about meeting people, and yeah SF is home to many awesome people.

I’m especially glad I got to meet the local GNOME people. There is without question a growing numbers of GNOME contributors based in San Francisco, I think it have something to do with a company known as Endless Mobile (they are building a mobile operating system with GNOME technologies for emerging markets, pretty awesome if you ask me).

Also spend some time in the local Mozilla office where I got a tour of the office. I honestly believe that you have one of the best views (of the bay at least) from the roof of the 4th floor.

Before I left the city to fly back to Sweden I also had the opportunity participate in a local techmeetup (a visit to San Francisco would not have felt complete without it), where I informed about contributions opportunities within Mozilla.
